RAIN OR BAD WEATHER
--------------------------------------------------
Rain or bad weather in itself is insufficient reason to cancel an evening’s schedule of games, however, if the respective venue authority disallows Premiership Touch Rugby due to possible field damage we will be forced to postpone them.
By 16:45 on the day of the games each venue page will be updated with the information Grounds OPEN, Grounds CLOSED or DECISION PENDING.
In the unlikely event of a cancellation (GROUNDS CLOSED), an e-mail will be sent at 17:00 to all organisers registered at a particular VENUE notifying them on whether touch will not be going ahead for that respective evening.
However due to the nature of e-mails and their propensity to occasionally get held up in e-mail systems, it is incumbent on all team organisers and players to check their respective venue page to see whether the grounds are open or not and to communicate this to their teams.
Teams may be required to “catch up” these missed games at some stage in the season, time allowng. Should these games be scheduled on another weeknight evening or weekend, Premiership Touch Rugby undertakes to give at least 1 weeks notice of such a fixture.
