FUN & EASY
03 Mar 2009, PTR Media

I was unsure about playing touch rugby when a work colleague first asked me, as I am not a regular team sports person and rugby is such a rough game when you watch it.

This didn’t stop the persistence of Dave (thank goodness), as I love playing now.

After Dave had literally dragged me down to his local touch rugby league I was surprised to see so many women playing. Everyone was very helpful and took me through some of the basics of the game and encouraged me on the field.

I must admit that for the first game I didn’t have a clue and literally did whatever Dave told me, thank fully we won the game and I didn’t feel like a complete twit out there.

Now I am a touch rugby convert and look forward to seeing everyone down at the league. It was surprising easy to pick up and after a couple of games I was confidently getting myself involved with the team moves.
